Submissions for the 2021 "Lend a Hand" CTN Foundation Awards are open.
Our message is simple: Stories and entertainment are important and artists matter.
CTN has been providing artist enrichment for over a decade. They announced the ‘Lend A Hand Program’ in 2019 and it quickly became a resource to help artists of all ethnicities, budgets and locations. Recipients are chosen through an online application process.

ELEGIBILITY
Age requirements can vary depending on the program.
Must have a portfolio or reel displaying work.
Must be able to travel.
Must be able to understand and communicate well in English.
Must own the rights to any artwork that is submitted.
In the event of a dispute as to eligibility, the Foundation will decide whether an applicant is eligible, and its decision will be binding.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Register for the website.
Select the program you want to apply for.
And select the scholarship you are applying for.
We recommend taking your time to show your best work. Quality over quantity!
Your portfolio should show your best work! Please organize your work to highlight your passion for visual storytelling.
Resume Submission Specifications: Applicants will submit a PDF.
AWARDS
There are multiple scholarships to apply for.
There are five Judges each in the category.
The Foundation will notify each winner and announce the winners in each category.
The Foundation in some cases will announce the Finalists, five in each category.
Winners in each category will be featured at the CTN animation eXpo Event.
Each Winner will receive a prize. Each Finalist will receive a runner up prize.

All applicants for the CTN Foundation Awards must agree to:
The CTN Foundation is closely monitoring best health and safety practices associated with COVID-19 and future programming, including the CTN eXpo event and related events.
Inform winners that, if selected, they must agree to participate in the Foundation’s exclusive Scholarship Alumni program, the details of which will be conveyed to them by the Foundation.

- Is this scholarship open to artists outside the United States?
Applications from international applicants are welcome.
- I missed the entry form deadline but would like to enter. Is this possible?
Unfortunately, no entries can be submitted once the entry form deadline has passed.
- Can I enter more than one category?
Yes. Please choose the categories most appropriate when entering your submission.
- Are illustrators, graphic novel and comics artists eligible for a CTN Foundation Award?
Yes, provided they meet the other eligibility requirements.
- How will I know if judges have received my application?
You will receive a confirmation email from the CTN Foundation system.
- When will I be notified if I am a winner?
