The Skydance Exhibiting Artist Award will empower a new artist exhibitor for CTNX 2021!
We are looking for artists with a passion for visual storytelling in animation who have never had the opportunity to exhibit. All voices , ethnicities and talent are welcome, ages 18 and up. The Skydance Exhibiting Artist Award is talent-driven, and awards based on portfolio submissions.

Exhibiting Artist Award is presented by Skydance Animation Studio. Awarded for the conference, CTNX 2021. November 18th - 21st, 2021.
Featured Artist interview in publication and social media
1 exhibition Standard Table 6’ x 3,’ 2 chairs
Featured in the online catalog.
Four 4-day exhibitor passes to CTNX 2021 is included.
One parking spot for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday is included.
Requirements
You will need a Portfolio.
You do not need to be a graduate of or enrolled in a university or scholastic program.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Never exhibited before at a convention or festival.
A driving passion to be in the animation, visual storytelling, and filmmaking industries.
You will need to speak and read English.
Terms
The entry must not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party. That means that the artwork should not contain a trademark or logo of another company, nor any copyrighted materials such as photographs, or posters.
The entry must be suitable for publication and publicity purposes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entries must be in good taste and must not contain obscene or defamatory statements nor portray Sponsor or any third party in any way that might tend to subject them to public contempt, scandal, disrepute or ridicule.
Entrant acknowledges that the artist creator will retain the rights to the artwork.
The entry may not contain the following: Nudity, profanity, any situations which expose any persons or likeness appearing in the entries to physical injury.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries it determines to be inappropriate for any of the reasons listed above, or for any other reason. For the full set of terms CLICK HERE

Evaluation and Review
Your work will be evaluated by judges who are veteran or current working professionals in the animation industry on the below criteria.
Creativity
The idea/concept.
Storytelling
Is the story readable. Is it clear.
Technique
The skill and handling of the medium you are working in.
Originality
Your voice. Your signature.
Rules
It is our hope that by that point, conditions will permit in-person public gatherings of this kind. As details are still being finalized, related information will be forthcoming. If this award is unable to be fulfilled in person it will be pushed to 2022.
